Fire At BMG Dorm Room, No Injuries Reported

BMG BldgA fire broke out at about 9:15 a.m this morning at a BMG dorm room, TLS has learned. The fire was contained to one room, and sprinkler systems went off. The Fire Department responded as well to ensure the fire was extinguished. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. TLS-MY

…Local firefighters determined a mattress was on fire, and extinguished it. There was no major damage to the building and no one was hurt, police said….

Wow in the know knows nothing at all. The fire did not start on the mattress in began in the sink and spread up the wall most likely due to a candle.

most likly a candle? if it was a candle there is obvious evidence of that . sounds more like what in the know said about a mattress

The A.P.P. was the first paper to report about this. The scoop would have been the first but because of they day it feel on they couldn’t. My only question is why did the APP pull the article from their web site? Why did the APP say it was a mattress and this other person say a sink. If the dorm is closed how does a sink catch on fire? TLS you guys do a great job.
