Federal School Scholarships – Is Your School Ready? Agudah to Host Critical Updates for Yeshiva Leaders in Lakewood and Passaic

With the recent passage of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” signed by President Trump earlier this month and included landmark federal school choice legislation, yeshiva leaders are being urged to prepare for this unprecedented opportunity: An opportunity for meaningful tuition relief.

To help school administrators get prepared and to answer the dozens of related questions,  Agudath Israel of America, which advocated and lobbied for this cause for over 20 years, is hosting two critical briefings for yeshiva leadership, offering an insider look at the multi-billion-dollar federal school choice law and how it could directly impact schools and parents.

The sessions are titled: “What Should You Be Doing Now?” and are aimed at ensuring that yeshivos are ready for what could be a major funding shift in Jewish education.

I love how the girls schools quickly raised the tuition by $2500 dollars in one year just as this got passed, instead of helping the parents. This is exactly what the schools did in Florida when they got their vouchers. Sad state of affairs!
