Fatal Fire Caused By ‘Improperly Discarded Smoking Material’; Smoke Detectors Were Not Working

The fire is believed to be accidental, and investigators have singled out “improperly discarded smoking material” — an unidentified tobacco product — as the cause, says Deputy Chief Michael Mohel, of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s office. “Every other possible cause has been eliminated,” he added.   8. im not sure what frum is, but if he was a jewish firfighter and the fire was at 115 in the afternoon on a saturday i doubt he would be out there for a fire, he would be in shul right?

    No it is a firefighter that puts his life in danger to protect you and your family every single day. What difference does it make what he is, pray for him to get better so he can get back to work and help u out should u ch’v need him

  11. It was an all call…meaning all Firefighters respond..it was the frum firefighters choice to go..of course they will respond they are firefighters. All the help they can get on days like that

    it shouldn’t matter if he is Jewish and it concerns me and other Lakewood firefighters that you seem to feel it does by asking if he was frum, we don’t ask if the burning building belongs to someone who’s Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, we show up and do our job and 99% of us are not getting paid to it, so show a little respect, he was a FIREFIGHTER and he got injured trying to save a mans life, THANK YOU ROB and a speedy recovery to you
