Expect to have lots of traffic today as over 90 percent of the 2.2 million New Jersey residents plan on hitting the road for the upcoming holiday. The majority of those will be driving at least 50 miles or more from home, according to the AAA. And that’s just New Jerseyans, which doesn’t include people driving into New Jersey from other states.

Along with the traffic will also be stepped up patrols by law enforcement to crack down on speeders and drunk drivers.
