TLS EXCLUSIVE Just in. An Employee of the 99 ents store in the Shoprite Plaza was arrested after stealing a customers cell phone a short time ago, a party involved related to TLS. A woman was checking out at the counter when she put her cell phone down on the counter to reach for her wallet in her pocketbook. When she was done paying and looked for her cell phone, it was gone. She asked the man behind the counter where it was and he had no idea. She immediately went out to her husband in the car who came in and approached him and again he denied any wrongdoing. When they were about to give up, a brother in law of the woman showed up who after noticing the shape of the phone in the mans pocket, told the employee “you have a choice, either you give back the phone now or we call the cops” but that didn’t phase him. When the man thought nobody was watching, he threw the phone behind some boxes at the counter and was picked up by the husband. That’s when the cops walked in. After being questioned, he was arrested and led away by police.

The same thing happened to me about 2 months ago! I was the only one in this dollar store and I put my phone down on the counter for a minute. When I was leaving I noticed it was missing and I went back to look for it but it was gone. I asked the guy behind the counter but he denied seeing it or taking it. I came back later again with my husband, and he told me that my friend had alredy come earlier to look for it and if we come again or ask again about it he would call the cops on US! Well, I got a new cellphone but tis pretty obvious what really happened over there……..
