Ever heard of Brooklyn, New York, Afghanistan? Well, one of our reader’s children was actually born there

One of our readers was quite shocked when he found out his child was born in New York, Afghanistan.

Sounds odd? He thought so too.

But that’s what the birth certificate of one of his children reads – check it out for yourself.

“I was horrified,” the father of the child told TLS. “How can our system make such a mistake?”

the certificate says the child was born in Staten Island, and the mom currently lives in Brooklyn New York, Afghanistan
