Erev Yom Kippur – The Center was Open, just like every day…

[COMMUNICATED] An ordinary day? No! There is no ordinary in the life of special needs…. The Special Children’s Center knows that and is there for over 400 families, making life possible.

The new school year began, a fresh start for all, but for children with special needs anything new is a challenge. The Center’s love and warmth made that transition manageable, helping each family and child settle into routine. THEN, the Yom Tov rush! How??? How can a mother who’s caring for her family’s every day needs, in addition to the endless tasks preparing for the upcoming Yomim Tovim, manage a child who requires constant care???

There’s only one answer… THE SPECIAL CHILDREN’S CENTER

Whatever the families need, The Center is there to help! Besides providing the families with stability every single afternoon and Sunday, The Center invites the children to sleep over for a night or two or for a full Shabbos so their family can take a breath and regain the strength they need.

The Center’s amazingly dedicated staff and volunteers are the quiet heroes who make all this possible, giving the children a wonderful time and lots of special love, while giving parents the opportunity to accomplish.

This Erev Yom Kippur at The Center, as the children flowed through the iconic big red doors, the heavens smiled. You too can uplift your Yom Kippur! Be a part of the miracles happening at The Center – Donate now to help The Center continue their lifesaving work https://www.thecenternj.org/donate
