Emergency Personnel Remind Parents About Pool Vigilance After Third Near Drowning in the Area in 10 Days

Emergency personnel are reminding parents to be extremely vigilant with regards to children swimming after the third near-drowning incident in the area in just 10 days.

Earlier this month, there were two near-drownings in Lakewood and Toms River. Today EMS responded to another incident in the area.

“You can never be too vigilant when watching children at a pool,” a first-responder said.

Pool-owners are also encouraged to have their address and an emergency number clearly visible at all times. You can order a free sign here.
