  1. H. Kleinhendler was my vote! He is a Talmid Chacham & a Yerei Shamayim who has quietly done so much for everyone for 15 years. Now it is time to see him in office!!! There is no doubt that I would rather cast a vote for an erilicher Yid rather than “others”

  2. A pretty little girl named Jane was standing on the sidewalk in front of her home.
Next to her was a basket containing a number of tiny creatures; in her hand was a sign announcing FREE KITTENS.

Suddenly a line of big black cars pulled up beside her. Out of the lead car stepped a tall, grinning man.
“Hi there little girl, I’m President Obama. What do you have in the basket?” he asked.
    “Kittens,” little Jane said.
“How old are they?” asked Obama.
Jane replied, “They’re so young, their eyes aren’t even open yet.”
“And what kind of kittens are they?”
“Democrats,” answered Jane with a smile.

Obama was delighted. As soon as he returned to his car, he called his PR chief and told him about the little girl and the kittens. Recognizing the perfect photo op, the two men agreed that the president should return the next day and in front of the assembled media, have the girl talk about her discerning kittens.

So the next day, Jane was again standing on the sidewalk with her basket of “FREE KITTENS,” when another motorcade pulled up, this time followed by vans from ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN. Cameras and audio equipment were quickly set up, then Obama got out of his limo and walked over to little Jane.
“Hello, again,” he said, “I’d love it if you would tell all my friends out there what kind of kittens you’re giving away.”
“Yes sir,” Jane said. “They’re Republicans.”
Taken by surprise, the president stammered:
“But… but… yesterday, you told me they were DEMOCRATS.”

    Little Jane smiled and said,
“I know. But today, they have their eyes open.”

  3. I just voted for Kleinhendler, Egert, Akerman and wrote-in my wife for both Freeholder seats (she can handle both). Anyone have an opinion on the one ballot question? Thanks.

  4. All of u above your comments are very sweet and silly I enjoy reading them. Although u should realize this year is the worst year since the ecomony is very poor side.. What is the most important is to vote for the best people to do a good Job. Now, You should realized that we have not a great President since many of u voted for him.. Just realized that..

  7. Mazel Tov to Lakewood! Thank you to everyone that utilized their very basic constitutional right to go out and vote! To the ones that did not; shame on you! Hopefully Isaac will help this town get back on it’s feet after all these years.

  8. Ms. Candy:
Today is the first happy day in this town in a LONG time! Albert is well known in town to be fair and understanding to ALL of the various groups that make up this town. His name stands for honesty, integrity and he is known to pursue the truth with unrelenting enthusiasm. He has served 6 years on the planning board and is one who has never yielded to the “big boys”. He is a breath of fresh air in Lakewood!

  9. What’s amazing is how few people in this town exercise their most basic constitutional right, namely the right to elect our officials. We don’t stop hearing the complaints from everyone about those same officials and their agendas….Where are you on Election Day?!

  10. I understand everyone is happy Isaac won. & rightfully so. I would just advise u to be very cautiously optimistic. I was ecstatic a few yrs ago when we got the 3rd Mishalanu on the Committee. I thought ” great, our troubles are over”. How wrong I was. I hope this time, this term, we will all takeh be happy. As we will join together, to oust corruption, increase mitzvos & march together to greet Moshiach Tzidkeinu Bimhaira.

  11. To # 47

I don’t know how old you are to set my time machine far back enough.. but I do know this is indeed a nice town to live in. We just need to be mindful not to cause unnecessary litter. Have a “nice” day!
