Elderly Woman Flown To Jersey Shore Hospital After Her Vehicle Overturns

Medevac After MVA Route 70 South Star Lakewood picVIDEO: [Medevac] An elderly woman has just been flown to Jersey Shore Hospital with serious injuries after her vehicle overturned on Route 70 in a single-vehicle MVA. The accident occurred on Route 70, in front of of the DMV a short time ago, when the woman lost control and flipped over. She was extricated from the vehicle by Lakewood First Aid, and was transported to Lakewood Airport with EMS Paramedics, from where she was flown to Jersey Shore Medical Center.

mva_rt_70CIU is currently investigating the crash.

Traffic on Route 70 is moving slowly, and Eastbound Traffic between New Hampshire Avenue and Airport Road, is being diverted. Expect delays. TLS-55/TLS-07/TLS-CCP/TLS-00

  3. I was listening to the EMS on the radio and they sure knew what was going on and sounded great. It was no time before everyone was on scene and she was out of the car. This is why EMS must stay in our town.
    Career and volunteer must be supported.
