He says “I am willing to participate in a “public-forum” with ALL of the Shufrah Kosher certifiers”. “Let the public decide who is right, me or them?”.

Are kashrus issues decided by public opinion?
Is he runnig for office??
No they are not . But Kashrus administrators should have no problem allowing for a full public disclosure of all facts so that thee comsumer can make up his own mind .

Since when do we have to “debate” every holocaust denier that announces, “If you don’t debate me that proves you are wrong”.
I am not saying that R’ Shain is in any way a holocaust denier, just this does not seem like an appropriate forum for discussion.
Kashrus agencies (at least the major ones) tend to be very upfront with their policies and procedures and anyone who has questions should contact them directly

Assuming that OK is right and pure cocoa does not need any hashgocha not for Pesach and not the whole year. That is still not what the sold it as. Shufra was selling it as a heimishe brand with a heimishe hashgoca at a Heimishe Price. To then say Oh yes there was no Heimishe hashgocha but we don’t really need Hashgocha temidi is highly unethical.
If this forum were around before, r’ yudel could have informed everyone about the monsey chicken issue. He called that one years before.

I think Shufra should reimburse everyone that bought their cocoa for pesach.

a choshuva rav in Brooklyn (whose name i won’t mention since i’m sure there is someone out there with a bone to pick) spoke in his shul on the first night of yom tov and said very clearly and strongly that there is no problem with the hashgacha. he called the whole issue a “hoax”. in summation, he said that there are people who live for one purpose – to make tumults.
all i can say is…it sure was delicious!!!!
Reb Yudel Why debate?? Send it to a lab like Neogen or 100 others like that. For Under $200 and a few days you can post the lab results right here. Send them a sealed can of it. Im sure Shufra all ready did and many others have. Where are there results???

“Who’s right”? You haven’t yet told anyone what was wrong with the cocoa. NOT why you diagree with a policy, BUT… that’s right… WHAT WAS / IS WRONG WITH THE COCOA.
YUDEL: COME OUT AND TELL THE WORLD: WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE COCOA?
Once we know what the alleged chametz/kitnios problem is, then we’ll be able to deccide if your are right or not.
