Eastern Union Funding is seeking to employ five qualified, promising, and talented young men ages 17-21 who have recently left Yeshiva, for four months, starting in June.
This follows on the footsteps of a four month Research Program they ran last year. Of the 12 boys that were hired, 11 are either back in Yeshivos or gainfully employed, 4 through Eastern Union.
Rabbi Simcha Greenwald, Director of Client Relations, plans on coordinating the program along with Tzvi Greenwald, Director of Lead Generation and Research, who will train young men in a real estate related program and pay them for their work. This is not a sales job, but it will entail some real phone and interpersonal skills.
Strict adherence to a schedule which starts with shacharis and leads into a one-hour morning seder under their direction will be a prerequisite for employment. Seder will be followed by six hours of employment that will involve work associated with real estate.
This will go a long way to help them enter and succeed in the business world as the setup is ideal for the type of boy who is looking for structure and success.
“Giving these young men the resources they need will train them for a life-long career and allow them to reach their fullest potential,” said Eastern’s president Ira Zlotowitz. “Keeping them in line with the values they have been taught at home and in Yeshiva, while teaching essentials such as team building and general business skills – all the while paying them – is an opportunity which doesn’t come along very often.”
The facilities will house a state-of-the-art Bais Medrash and Recreation Room, which will allow the boys to blend work, learning, and play in a kosher and healthy environment.
There will be an open house later in the week to meet and greet the players involved.

Dudy what in the world are you talking about?!
Dudy, relax, why hate? It’s a beautiful thing that they’re doing,
No hate at all . just refrain from stigmatising people who want to work or get training for a job.
Dudy, isn’t that what they are offering??
It really is not understandable what upset you.
