  1. I would just like to add one more point .I realize there are always going to be people on here with a very cynical attitude towards our efforts. Of course after 30 years of no success ,taking one step forward and two steps back ,it is understandable. But this project is completely different. The parties involved have only the entire towns best interests in mind. There is no one person or group that alone will benefit from these efforts.through the efforts of Steve Langert, together with township attorney Jan Wouters,Steve Reinman,Ms.Komsa,Yehuda Abraham ,the LDC UEZ,Officer Mick and the entire police dept.KevinKielt,Mike Saccomano, and the inspection dept.real change will come. It may not come overnight. We still need to deal with members of our own kehilla that contributed, many unintentionally,to ruining the center of our town.A big thank you to those that understand they have a responsibility to their community to only rent their stores to responsible, pleasant tenants that bring beauty and joy , not fear and loathing, to the downtown. Thank you Shuie Basch,Juvenile Planet, Naftoli Eisen,Rabbi Eizikovitz,Rabbi Bauman,Yechiel Berman, andDov Gluck and others, for realizing the importance of keeping our town safe and pleasant, and forgoing substantial amounts of money for that goal. I hope in the coming months to report concrete changes occuring that make our town a nicer, safer place. A town that exudes its positive image, not through logos or marketing, but by being a shining example of a clean, non corrupt, safe, pleasant place to raise a family.
    Who can argue with that?
