Because of the overwhelming response to its H1N1 Flu immunization program this past Saturday, during which OHI administered more than 1,500 free H1N1 shots, OHI (Ocean Health Initiatives), a federally qualified health care center (FQHC), has scheduled an additional date to offer the public free H1N1 Flu shots. Free H1N1 vaccines will be offered on Tuesday, November 24 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lakewood site of OHI, 101 Second Street. No appointment is necessary and you do not have to be a patient of OHI.
Other free H1N1 vaccine clinics have already been scheduled for Friday, November 20 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at OHI, 301 Lakehurst Road, Toms River; and Saturday, November 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 101 Second Street, Lakewood. The Mobile Medical Unit of OHI will be at the Bais Faiga School, Lakewood, on Monday, November 23 to provide H1N1 shots for children attending the school.
