PHOTOS: Drunk Hit and Run Driver Arrested After Being Located by LCSW

PHOTOS: A drunk driver was arrested moments ago after crashing his vehicle and fleeing on foot. The suspect, a Hispanic male, crashed into a parked car on Somerset Avenue and then got out of his vehicle and fled on foot.

The owner of the parked vehicle – who was taking a walk with his wife at the time near their home, heard the crash and turned around to see his vehicle severely damaged. He immediatley phoned Police and LCSW, and gave a description of the suspect.

About 5 minutes later, an LCSW member spotted the suspect on New York Avenue, and notified an officer in the area.

The suspect was brought back to the scene, given a sobriety test, and then arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. [TLS-46/TLS-28/TLS-CCP/TLS-71/TLS-24-A/B]

poor guy up here from south carolina just trying to make a living to help his family we really need more of these wonderfull future americans they dont bother anyone im sure he has insurance on that car all is good

I feel sorry for the victim. My car got totaled by a township plow & I also got nothing. Even tho 3 ppl on the block heard the truck & saw the yellow light. But, no one saw a plate or truck #. So, they get off scott-free. So will this guy.

HEY LAKEWOOD RESIDENTS, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR STOP HIRING ILLEGAL ALIENS THAT WAY YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO SUPPORT THEIR DRUG & ALCOHOL HABIT.

That was an unnecessary rude comment. That can happen to anybody they can be drinking and hit someone or a car. Not only hispanics as you say “illegal aliens”. Not all undocumented people are alcoholics. Any race has alcoholics within it so dont discriminate. Everyone is just trying to get a job to maintain themselves and family. Bye!
