  1. I attended the fireworks in person & noticed quite a few drones over the lake. I understand why people used their drones, but it was very distracting & took away from the experience. Maybe next time drone owners can be a bit more considerate & not hover so close to the fireworks display…

  2. Self-Congratulatory TLS Reader Boasts: “Didn’t Need To Attend the Fireworks Show, ’cause I Watched the Video Clip on The Scoop!”
Lakewood resident, Alex Greenveld – an avid and longtime reader of the TLS website – told reporters on Monday that he chose to skip this year’s July 4 weekend fireworks show at Lake Carasaljo, ” ’cause why would I bother attending a crowded show in person when I can see it on TLS, in a brief, condensed one-minute video clip, in the comfort of my own home?!”
“Rather than pack all of my kids into the crowded backseat of my car, or trudge by foot to the jam-packed, suffocating event,” Mr. Greenveld said, “I simply microwaved a few bags of popcorn for the entire family, and we watched the event on The Scoop website from the comfort of our living room couch! You can’t beat that kind of comfort and coziness!”
“This is the first time in years that my kids managed to stay awake through the entire show,” he proudly boasted, “because the video clip was only one minute long.”
“After watching the one-minute-long video clip, we finished eating the popcorn – and the kids, who had nothing else on their agenda – went straight to bed. It was without doubt the easiest, most hassle-free firework celebration I’ve experienced in years! I slept like a baby last night – thanks to TLS!”

  3. I can’t stand it people are so dramatic thees days. the drown owner has all the rights to fly his drown over the fireworks show it’s not his fault Miriam should have ben more focused on the show and it’s also the people’s fault for not telling her the show is once a year.

    • It’s a bit difficult to focus on the fireworks with the bright green lights of hovering drones right front & center…last time there was one drone, which was fine. This year there were many more…
