The driver who killed four Bachurim in a wrong-way crash on the Turnpike, has been charged, police said.
New Jersey State Police told TLS, “On October 21, 2025, Christopher Neff, a 41-year-old male from Westminster, CO, was charged in connection with the October 19, 2025, motor vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike South at milepost 1.3 in Carneys Point Twp., Salem County. Neff was arrested and charged with four counts of Aggravated Manslaughter (1st Degree), four counts of Vehicular Homicide (2nd Degree), Unlawful Possession of a Handgun (2nd Degree), and Possession of Hollow Point Ammunition (4th Degree).”
Due to injuries sustained in the crash, Neff remains in custody at the hospital. Additional charges may be pending. The investigation remains active, and no further information is available, police stated.
