Driver Uninjured After Vehicle Overturns, Lands In Woods

overturn cedarbridge tlsVIDEO: A driver emerged from his vehicle uninjured after his vehicle overturned and landed in the woods in a single vehicle MVA. The incident occurred about 2:00 PM on Oberlin Avenue near Cedarbridge when the driver apparently lost control due to the heavy downpour.

The Lakewood Fire Department and Police Department responded to the scene.

The downpour is expected to last through this evening. TLS-CCP/TLS-62.

  1. he did not lose control due to the rain, he lost control due to going around a bend at a much faster than safe speed. stop blaming nature and start blaming horrible drivers.

  2. Got to agree with #1, the slick roads probably had something to do with it but common sense should dictate to slow down cause its raining. Cant take corners in the rain like you can in the dry. Thats assuming this person has common sense, which lacks in many residents in Lakewood. It rains all the time, cars dont always flip over.

  3. i work on that curve there and its definitely the bend on both sides of oberlin, those bends are hard and if u take them two fast in there rain u will lose control its happened on a number of occasion it even happen to me

  4. #10 Yitz, you are so right. How can anyone jump to say what happened!? Stop judging!! In rains like that around a bend, you can lose control even without going fast!
