PHOTOS: A driver attempting to park at the Farm Fresh Grocery store ended up crashing into it instead. The incident occurred at approximately 9:45 PM, when the woman hit the front wall, shattering a large window and causing some structural damage.
The woman was uninjured, and the inspection department had the Squankum Road grocery store close for the remainder of the evening. TLS-00/TLS-CCP.
One of Lakewood’s new traffic changes definitely had a role in this.
It’s “Squankum” Road, not “Swuankum” Road
Every time I park there, I say to myself, one day s/one is gonna hit the wall. And it happened. Either way, Yossi & Bentzy are doing a great job and the Squankum/Kol Shimshon neighborhood greatly appreciate having a top-flight, Class-AAA supermarket in their midst. Hatzlochoh Rabbah. Dudi B.
to # 1, i agree they should have left first st. west bound only, now that it is east bound people get confused and forget how to park.
why should anyone crash into the window if there’s a curb there!?
