Dr. Rich Roberts: Carnival Still on for Tuesday

roberts 1Despite the possible inclement weather, the 2015 Pesach Chol Hamoed carnival is currently still on for tomorrow, Tuesday, from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Pine Park, Dr. Rich Roberts tells TLS.

Attractions –  Wacky Chad, The Gizmo Guys, Jonathan Geffner – ventriloquist, cotton candy (12,000 cones, 600 pounds of sugar), 36 rider capacity electric spinner ride, pirate ship, train, inflated rock climbing, obstacle course, moon bounce, fun slide, juggler, and rides on military/police vehicles. The schedule for the shows is as follows

11:30   Gizmo Guys – comedian jugglers.

12:15   Ventriloquist – projects his voice through puppets for funny conversations.

1:00     Wacky Chad – stunt comedian: unicycle, pogo stick, and comedy.

1:45     Gizmo Guys

2:30     Ventriloquist

3:15     Wacky Chad

4:00     Gizmo Guys

4:45     Ventriloquist

5:30     Wacky Chad

 

******* Parking – Note Changes – Cars parked on County Line Road will likely be ticketed. The LPD wants all cars parked in Pine Park parking lots. The overflow from the main parking lot will be directed to two parking lots deeper in the park. Four mini busses will continuously shuttle people between the two satellite parking lots and the carnival. ******* 

Rain Date – if there is a likelihood of rain on Tuesday, then check www.kna613.com Monday night for a possible change to Wednesday April 8th. Do not call the Roberts home. If the rain date is used then some of the performers will not appear.

Festivity Changes From Previous Carnivals

The number of shows has been increased from two to three, occurring on a tighter schedule, to accommodate many more people. All shows are new to the Traveling Tykes Chol Homoed carnival.

KNA will provide a DAIRY chocolate Mekupelet log for the first 7200 children and the first 5000 children will also receive a BBQ potato chip bag. Any extra nosh will be returned to KNA for future shul use. 

******* Lost children – Note Changes – Lost children will not be announced. Instead, all lost children and parents should meet at the corner of the stage by the “lost children” sign. If your child is too young to know your cell phone number then please write your cell phone number on a piece of tape and apply it to your child’s shirt. ******* 

Sponsor – This is a Traveling Tykes event but it will be paid for by Kollel Ner Avrohom, Inc.

Cost – Everything is free. Nothing will be available to be purchased or paid for.

Objective – To provide a kosher and sweet Chol Hamoed event for children while helping to relieve some of the financial burden on Frum families.

Update and changes – everything is subject to change. For weather caused changes to the schedule, please refer to www.kna613.com. Do not call the Roberts home.

Final Notes – This is a Travelling Tykes event that is organized and operated by Travelling Tykes. The cost is being deferred by Kollel Ner Avrohom, Inc. for this religious celebration.

  1. a big kiddush hasham. my son in law lost his cell phone in the park,is there a lost and found where things that got lost could be found?

  2. thank you doctor roberts. Thank you for the wonderful time we all had. I also wanted to add that you should know my grandmother that is nearly 100 years old comes every yom tov and enjoys the carnival at least as much as the kids thank you thank you
