DPW Director Al Burdge tells TLS over 100 additional residents have requested bulk pick-ups since we posted the bulk pick up schedule for Spring and Pesach cleaning. Additionally, says Burdge, there will be an additional trash pick up this year for all residents whose trash pick-up day is Tuesday.
For those who have pick-up on Tuesdays, there will be an additional pick-up on the Friday prior to Pesach. The first day of Pesach is on Tuesday, April 19. The additional pick-up will be on Friday, April 15.
The following is the bulk pick up schedule for the next few weeks.
If your garbage pick up is on Monday, bulk pick up will be March 30th and April 6.
If your garbage pick up is on Tuesday, bulk pick up will be March 9th and April 13.
(If your garbage pick up is on Thursday, bulk pick up was March 16)
(If your garbage pick up is on Friday day, bulk pick up was March 23)
You must call the DPW at 732-905-3405 – to request a bulk pick up.
Also, bulk trash and recyclables can always be brought to the DPW at the corner of New Hampshire and Cedar Bridge avenues. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. TLS.

Always a complaint. If they wouldn’t be picking it up you’d be complaining that they aren’t sensitive to the needs of our community. Be happy for once. Smile and stop complaining. You’ll have a much happier life.

People are just too lazy to do things for themselves, always looking for others to cater to them. Then we complain about high taxes. I still say, it’s just a waste of money. If my money wasn’t’ being wasted I would have a happier life and not complain. So? Do you want lower taxes, I ask? What are you willing to give up for that privilege? And I’m smiling as I say this. 🙂
when I called for bulk pickup (my regular trash pickup is on Monday) I was told April 6th not March 30th. Do I have to REQUEST march 30?
