Due to the Holiday, there will be no trash pickup on Friday, the Township said today. Thursday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on the preceding Wednesday. Friday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on the preceding Thursday.
There will be no bulk collection this week.

I don’t like to kvetch, however I will say what people are thinking….
For the taxes we pay we should all have pick up erev Pesach let alone 10 trucks through out lakewood.
Oh well. Maybe next year.

i think r felder paskened garbage in township bins that everyone has is not a problem since township owns them.

The garbage bins belong to the toownship and the garbage I put in them is hefker and doesn’t belong to me once I put it out.
back in the days… lakewood used to have a special run for garbage pickup on erev pesach. Every time I think about it, I wonder.
Is it really cheaper to have the multiple dumpsters around town manned 24hr a day for 2-3 days than have pickup throughout the whole lakewood on erev yom tov early in the morning? Somehow, I find it hard to believe that the way it’s done now is cheaper than the old way, which also is much easier for everyone!
