Dovid Gabay: The Outpour of Chesed for my Niece is Unbelievable

gabayDear Lakewood Community, I just wanted to take a minute out to thank you all for your unbelievable outpour of chesed and tremendous response to the TLS article that was written up to cheer up my niece, Haddassah Tehilla Bas Michal, after her boating accident this summer.

Individuals who have absolutely no connection whatsoever to me or Tehilla went out of their way, buying gifts, sending letters, showing their support for another jew solely because they are part of Am Yisrael. How important it is to daven for one another, as Chazal teach us that Davening for someone else creates a zechus for YOU that YOUR tefilos be answered…

Mi K’amcha Yisroel! I am so proud to live in this wonderful community among the best of the best!

B’soros Tovos,

Dovid Gabay

  1. Dovid Gabay in his own right is a mentsch par excellance. A man with sterling middos and a pleasure to deal with. ASHRECHA…

May your niece and her family have the ability to tackle this niacin that Hashem has presented them.

And may Klal Yisrael know of no more pain and suffering…

  2. R’ Rambo is right. What goes around comes around. Dovid does tremendous stuff for the cholim of the community & some of it filtered back to Tehilla. I sent Tehilla an email, she responded she’s back in Israel and is doing well under the circumstances & recuperating nicely. May she have continued Hatzlocha. Sadly, some of the injuries she suffered will effect her for the rest of her life but she can have a happy, productive life with them.
