Dorothy Crippin Lakewood Library plaqueVIDEO: This past Thursday, Dorothy Crippin, an icon at the Ocean County Library’s Lakewood branch received a plaque from the Mayor on behalf of the Township, recognizing her 28 years of dedication to the Library. Crippin, who recently retired, was thanked for her time and service she gave to the residents of Lakewood, and was handed a proclamation as her family and friends as well as appreciative residents, cheered.

#8 please be quiet. There is an inyan to have hakoras hatov (to recognize the good someone has done for you). Obviosly the lady deserves it. What would you rather, that the township shouldn’t recognize people for their hard work and dedication?
