It the Democrats gain power they’ll for sure attempt to eliminate the filibuster, we might as well do it first to pass legislation.
It’s a solution in need of a problem. Voter ID laws create barriers for those who have limited access to required IDs, such as older adults, people with disabilities, and those with low incomes, who are more likely to be minorities. It’s basically a method to suppress Democratic-leaning voters.
But who cares about them? All democrats are just “scoundrels, cheaters and psychopaths”. That’s what King Don says at least.

Don’t be ridiculous. You need an ID for EVERYTHING. Handicap has nothing to do with it. Low incomes? What are you talking about? What does your income have to do with carrying ID? You need an ID for everything!
This sounds racist to me. Minorities aren’t capable of getting an ID? It’s so simple! Why look down on them as incapable and incompetent? They are just as capable as majorities (if that’s even a term).
This has been proven false over and over again. Any legal resident can get an id. Majority of seniors have id from before they ebcame bed ridden. Minorities all have id, if they want.

I agree with the Pres. Just not sure I agree with all the name calling, not because they are not all of the above…. they are all of the above and then some… but coming from the President, a little more restraint and a little less name calling, probably would be more effective. That’s just my two cents..

It’s the frustration that we on the right feel about almost everything on the left. A lot of it doesn’t make sense and you just don’t get how in the world they don’t understand it.
The filibuster is an important and crucial part of the American system of government.
If all it took was a simple majority America would radically change every few years which would cause mass instability.
Imagine there’s a simple majority of Democrats in power. They pass every Pro-Dem law no matter how extreme & shut down Republican programs. Then in a few years the Republicans have a simple majority & do the exact opposite of what the Dems did. America would have wild swings in how it’s run which wouldn’t be good for anyone.

As for the “important and crucial part of American government”, the Filibuster is NOT a constitutional rule at all, so “crucial” might be a bit much here.
There’s just 1 problem with that… there isn’t wide spread voter fraud. News agencies looked at over 100,000 votes and found 2 possible cases of voter fraud.
Why was there no screams of voter fraud in the election from last week? Because it doesn’t exist except in Republican minds

I am pro trump and pro voter ID but he still got elected without it….twice.
I live in a vote by mail state. The only offenders/voter fraud was about 3 years ago when some republicans tried to stuff the ballot box with fraudulent ballots. I provided ID when I first registered to vote in my state decades ago,
