URGENT: First, we have been asked to post, that any cars which are blocking the plow trucks will either be ticketed or towed. Also, many readers have been complaining about their streets being plowed and have asked us to contact the Township. Please post your street in the comment section if it has not yet been cleared and we will try to get an ETA from the Township regarding it. Please also understand, that the Township has dozens of trucks out on the road, and not every road can get plowed first. We will keep you posted.

That means park the car in your driveway. Or on your lawn. Get it off the road so the plows can clean the street of snow. If you live in a townhouse then complain to the landlord that you need more parking spaces. Maybe you have too many cars?

You’re complaining about your dead end streets and development streets that haven’t been turned over to the township. its a lot more important for them to do the main arteries than your too narrow development streets. As to where to put your cars, if you live on a “snow route” street then you had no business parking it there over shabbos because they were expecting snow and on the side streets at least have the seichel to ask your neighbor for a driveway if you yourself don’t have one. Somehow here in chicago we’ve been managing since the beginning of time without driveways on most streets yet they all get plowed.

ok folks….use that little pea sized brain you were given…….we just had a blizzard 2 feet of snow……..it will take a few days…yes days to clear the roads. If everyone parked in their driveways off the streets, and didn’t drive the snow plows could do their jobs easier and quicker. Last night from my block I kept hearing the horn from the snow plow blowing as idiots were out on the roads…………….going to J2 I am sure.

Those people in the developments cimplaining about not being plowed – you’re in for a long wait. The LAC negotiated township plowing for the developments instead of the private plowing that they used to have. Of course, what they don’t tell everyone is that the developments are now LAST, after even the most minor street. If they had stuck with the private plowing, your streets would already be cleared.

So we put our cars in the driveway…only to be blocked in by the snow plows. Its a no win situation. At least it doesn’t snow here much. This town doesn’t know how to deal with it. Then when we try to dig out of the driveways we get yelled at by the snow plowers.

Gee whiz. All of a sudden plowing is so important? It never stopped all to many before. I watch in horror at the stroke of sundown, last evening, as our learned hasidim go flying down streets at speeds they shouldn’t do on dry days. What is the rush and what is so important that you have to endanger my life ( the heck with yours).
And to #18 try using your garage ( take out the 15 bikes, 50 chairs, assorted furniture, etc…IT’S A GARAGE NOT A STORAGE UNIT).
Further more if some drivers would learn how to park at the curb and not 4 feet out it would help.
