DEVELOPING: Thousands Of JCP&L Customers Without Power In Jackson

Thousands of JCP&L customers are without power across large swaths of Jackson Township tonight.

The outage, which is currently affecting nearly 4,000 customers, comes just hours after some had their power restored following last weekend’s storms.

No cause was provided and early estimates from the power company indicate power will be restored by 2am.

Inexplicable Phenomenon: Several Thousands JCP&L Customers in NJ Currently Have Power!
In what experts are calling ‘the miracle of the century’, several thousand JCP&L customers in the state of NJ currently have power in their homes.
“It’s amazing,” said Ocean County resident, Alex Lichtbulb, “these kind of miracles don’t happen to me too often. I have no idea what good deed I must have done to merit this kind of miraculous salvation, although I did give away my afternoon snack today.”
“Praise the Lord,” said Monmouth County resident, Steven Iceburg. “I can actually feel the air coming out of my AC unit for the first time in my life, which means there’s power in NJ!”
“Wow, this is definitely a first for me!” he added. “It’s crazy! Some day I’ll be able to tell my grandschildren that I actually witnessed NJ’s electrical grid producing electricity! Unbelievable!”
“But I wonder how long this miracle will last, ” he wondered out loud. To which JCP&L employee, Robert Wirefeld, replied, “Not too long, my friend. Bare in mind that these once-in-a-lifetime miracles never last too long. Just sit back and enjoy it while you can.”
