DEVELOPING: Portion of Newark Airport Evacuated; Bomb Squad on Scene [UPDATED – PHOTOS]

Newark Airport’s Terminal C Level 1 was evacuated moments ago due a suspicious bag.

The bag was reportedly vibrating, prompting en evacuation.

Police are with guns drawn and the bomb squad is on scene.

UPDATE 6:37 PM: The all-clear has been given and the terminal has been reopened.

  1. maybe some of the bochurim who already learned a few zmanim in Eretz Yisroel should be staying in the US to start shidduchim?

  2. The klalla in the Torah, which says we will run away even when no one is chasing us, is coming true in today’s society. We have so many of these incidents of suspicious packages turning out to be nothing, but we have to be vigilant nonetheless. We have to run even when no one is chasing us.
