  1. This is getting out of hand, and you wonder why State Troopers come in. Maybe your life is not important as you race through red lights, make left turns in front of people, pass on the shoulder, just disregard traffic laws completely to meet your needs. But the life you effect is very important to them and their family. Stop being selfish and drive with others in mind. Please, it could be my family member next.

      • Are you the drunk police? Do you know that for a fact? It’s facetious to presume if you are driving that the other person was drunk.just because time of day. Everyone needs to slow down and just watch your surroundings. It’s crazy how many crashes lakewood has in a day, every day. Lots of people on distracted drivers here. No one cares

  2. Speeding is concern only if the driver is first stupid & reckless. Cameras will find them before the accident(s) when the police immediately respond. Increase the fine 10 fold and return 75% of the fine if no repeat over the next 5 years.

  3. No. Speeding is very much a concern. Vehicles don’t flip over because they drove a little slower. Reaction time for a great driver who is going 70 in a 50 to avoid the idiots who text or roll out at stop signs into their lane is significantly reduced.
