DEVELOPING: Fire Department Responding to a Fire at a Residential Building in Lakewood [PHOTOS]

[UPDATE 3:05]: The fire has now been extinguished. There are no reports of injuries.

The Lakewood Fire Department is responding to a fire this afternoon at a six-story residential facility on Route 70.

Heavy smoke was reported in the laundry room, and spreading to the rest of the building, which is an assisted living facility.

Mutual aid from surrounding towns are responding as well for what is now a two-alarm fire.

  1. At least it’s not Hamas that has a huge oil tanks stored beneath their hospital – using hospital as human shield. AND they won’t give it for hospital generators – only for terrorist (“fighter”) use.
    We have nothing personal against Arabs, except when we need to take self-defense measures.
