[UPDATE 3:05]: The fire has now been extinguished. There are no reports of injuries.
The Lakewood Fire Department is responding to a fire this afternoon at a six-story residential facility on Route 70.
Heavy smoke was reported in the laundry room, and spreading to the rest of the building, which is an assisted living facility.
Mutual aid from surrounding towns are responding as well for what is now a two-alarm fire.
This is a developing story and will be updated.

We have nothing personal against Arabs, except when we need to take self-defense measures.
