Jackson Police Advise Local Residents To Barricade Themselves Inside Their Homes After Suspicious Individual Is Discovered Barricaded Inside A Home
Upon learning that a suspicious individual barricaded himself inside a local home on Thursday, Jackson police quickly issued a statement to neighboring residents advising them to barricade themselves inside their homes “until the barricaded individual can be safely extracted from the home that he barricaded.”
“Please lock the doors of your homes,” Jackson police told neighboring residents, “and barricade your homes with heavy objects until the said individual is no longer barricaded inside that home.”
However, sources are now reporting that Jackson police issued a follow-up statement just minutes ago, informing residents that the aforementioned individual is no longer barricaded inside that home, hence the residents “no longer need to barricade themselves inside their homes.”
