DEVELOPING: Authorities Investigating Animal Hoarding Incident in Brick [PHOTOS]

Authorities are on scene of an apparent animal hoarding incident in Brick.

The police department, fire department, Hazmat, and animal control, are on scene of the residence, which is located near the Lakewood-Brick border.

UPDATE: A total of 113 animals were removed from the home, 110 cats and 3 dogs.

The owners of the residence were apparently looking to relocate and surrender the animals to authorities.

The animals were taken to the Ocean County Animal Shelters in Jackson and Manahawkin, officials said.

The animals are in “decent health”.
