Detention Hearing Set for Suspect in Lakewood and Jackson Crime Spree [UPDATED]

Dion Marsh, the man who is accused of going on a crime spree in Lakewood and Jackson, will face a judge for a detention hearing on Wednesday, TLS has learned.

Marsh was charged with multiple counts of attempted murder, and other charges, for the approximately eight-hour crime spree which left four people injured, including two critically.

At the hearing, it will be decided if Marsh should remain jailed until trial or allowed on bail.

UPDATE: The suspect appeared before a judge today, and a new hearing date was set for next week. During the hearing, Marsh allegedly screamed at the judge, at which time his mic was muted.

  1. “Remain in jail until trial or allowed on bail”??! Is that a joke? What happened to the sow hat stabbed someone outside Out to Lunch?

      • than both of you. Maybe BLM sponsored him a free vacation (from jail?!) like the guy who opened fire at an electoral candidate – w as out of jail two days later.
p.s. BLM is not as kindhearted as they’re made out to be. There are books about it – such as I Can’t Breathe: How a Racial Hoax Is Killing America Hardcover – October 5, 2021

  2. I find it troubling that TLS did not report on Governor Murphy’s new mandate that public schools teach gender-sensitive issues to second graders as has been reported by other Frum news outlets. I’m just pointing out that this is one of many reasons that many in the community voted (and supported) his opponent.

        • I want to add that TLS is also super special, due to the fact that they are very careful not to allow disgusting language in order to make sure that we don’t drown in the bottom of the sewer drains.
By the way, you can ask your Rav, it says in Chazal that even if your Mazal was suppose to be that you will become a rich man, if you use disgusting language, you can kiss all that money good bye. Sorry about that.

Anyway, he’s just doing it because everyone else is… It’s like allowing marijuana – it’s the new liberal fad. As Americans, we continuously need to “increase” our freedoms to the point that they make no sense at all. That’s what a politician needs to do in order to gain votes.

  3. Even if Murphy did not require his perversion to be taught in private schools, it will effect our children as they will grow up in a society where it is not ok to believe that all that alphabet stuff is nonsense. And don’t kid yourself, eventually perverts like him will require this stuff to be taught in private schools as well.

  4. He was having a bad day, had a rough childhood, felt unloved, got into an argument with his gf, couldn’t afford a bucket of wings, was under the influence, had a mental episode, and was directed by the devil himself….
    Right?
If all of the above isn’t enough to prove that his actions don’t represent his sweet personality correctly, as he is in the process of turning his life around, he also cannot afford bail, AND is holding down two jobs to support his abandoned mother.
    So, there!
