The DEP (Department of Environmental Protections) today visited the Blue Claws Stadium and bordering properties investigating the dug-up earth where the cancelled Mud Run event intended to place structures for the Saturday event. An official tells TLS the DEP surveyed the area and will be instructing the Mud Run directors how to restore the properties and to correct any wrongdoing.

The official says no charges have yet been filed, and it’s unknown at this time if any charges will be filed.

The event was cancelled by Township officials due to inadequate insurance and no proper permit.
