DB Electronics, located at 4th Street and Clifton Avenue, will be moving into the historic Lakewood Post Office at the corner of Route 88 and Clifton Avenue.
“We’re really excited to finally have lots and lots of space,” says the store manager Yitzy Back.“We’ve been struggling with space for years. In the last couple of years we have been putting up a tent during our Chanuka and Pesach seasons but it was still always crowded and inconvenient for our customers.”
The Post Office moved out of the building last November, and relocated to Swarthmore Avenue.
Being an historic building limits their ability to change much of the structure and property, the manager says.
The management also thanked the Lakewood Township for their support.
“We hope this is going to give the Lakewood community the electronics super store they’ve always dreamed about,” they said.
The store will move on Thursday, November 19, and open for business on Friday, November 20, at 19 Clifton Avenue.

Wow הצלחה רבה
Mazal Tov! Great idea. I am very impressed by the marketing savvy of DB. I am sure they thought this through and came out a win win for everyone. HATZLACHA!………And no, i do not know the owners, managers or anyone else connected to DB nor was I ever a customer I am just glad that the post office will be occupied with a vibrant tenant, and this will also encourage another (hopefully vibrant and mutually beneficial) tenant in their former spot……..I pray.
What wasted space. 20 townhouses could have been built there 🙂 Much continued hatzlocha to DB.
very nice
Too bad it couldn’t have been used for the Lakewood historical society.
Perfect for storing documents and memorabilia.
So proud of you guys! Wishing you much hatzlocha

“Meshana Makom Meshana Mazel”
can’t wait for our Chanukah presents!!
It’s a great store. And, oh-my, how I love those initials.
DB & the post office. Great match. Because DB delivers !!!
Hatzlocha rabbah & Tischadesh !!!
Hey Yiddel, I am not a customer because I have no need for electronics, Had I a need I would gladly frequent DB. Its funny how people like you miss the forest for the trees. (which means you focus on a non important detail and miss the point of the entire paragraph) My point in saying that I wasn’t a customer was that i was giving DB a compliment with no strings attached….
To the new owners: may I have the golden eagle from over the door, please
Wish DB MUCH Hatzlocho with the move!!! Hopefully more people will realize that instead of spending an hour online looking for a good deal, you can spend 10 minutes at DB and get a good deal, good product and great customer service!!!
So glad the building will remain as is. Can’t wait to visit my favorite store.
Question: What will you do for ample parking?? I doubt the small parking area will suffice.
