PHOTOS: A day after a serious MVA, the County will be turning on the traffic lights at the intersection of New Hampshire and Ridge. The lights, which were installed approximately 3 months ago, will be in ‘Flashing Mode’ for the next 3-5 days, as required by law. The lights are built with a traffic sensor, which will allow the light to remain green for Ridge Avenue traffic and sense when a vehicle approaches from New Hampshire Avenue.

so my comment was correct yesterday. aha
Why did it take 3 months for the light to go on? Anyone know?
Budget issues!
this traffic light is for the idiots who cant see a RED STOP SIGN & a YELLOW SIGN THAT SAYS this is a simple intersection to navigate, and it takes some small attention to detail. if people cant navigate such a simple intersection im scared to see them on the road period.
and can anyone please explain why the opposing side of the road has a traffic light that’s pointing towards the oncoming traffic??? seems like 3 traffic lights pointing in each direction is for the morons who are not paying attention, and not for the average drivers. – HUGE WASTE OF MONEY IF YOU ASK ME!
