David Klein, Director Small Business Services LCSC, On New Programs

UEZ meeting LDC_wmI love the passion of all those who have commented regarding the LDC’s new programs. As a member of the team that developed some of these proposals, in particular the expansion on the Micro-Loan program, I can attest to the dedication and genuine desire of all those involved to help ameliorate the situation of the many stressed businesses in Lakewood. An honest look at these new programs in the form of a Lakewood Township Stimulus Package, will reveal real world ideas that have real world potential to stimulate local businesses and the local economy. I understand the general skepticism of any program funded by a government body, but sometimes even government can get something right.

David, formerly a senior financial specialist of Wachovia Bank for many years right here in Lakewood on Main St. works for Lakewood Community Services and works together on many occasions with Yehuda Abraham and Trish Komsa from the LDC. David, in his capacity as Director of Small Business Services helps businesses obtain financing with UEZ loan programs yet is not limited to the UEZ. David, in addition, helps businesses obtain financing through government sources such as SBA, EDA and UCEDC as well as non-government sources such as corporate and private foundations such as banks, major retailers and the like. David helps businesses construct business plans and put together financials as required by funding institutions to obtain financing. A bit of a different job description.

    This sounds fishy? Since when is your ignorance automatically fishy? Because YOU don’t know who pays his salary it sounds fishy!?! Someone posts something in order to help businesses out and in your brave anonymity you slander him.

    I have a feeling that you tend to think a lot of things are fishy. Normally ignorance is bliss, with you it’s a way of life. Enjoy.

    YES why DO you bother. Whomever you are, you sure got riled up from some anonymous question that seemed, to me at least, to be quite legitimate . You tell him ignorance is bliss when he asks you a question? Okay I am also curious now. Who pays his salary? Why is his position suddenly necessary? I am 30 percent sure who you are so, When am I getting my phone call? I have a lot more questions for you. But I am sure you would rather we talk about them in private.
