Date Set for LPD’s Annual Night Out Against Crime

P1240844Once again the Lakewood Police Department will be hosting is Annual Night Out Against Crime Community Fair. This year’s event is scheduled for Tuesday August 12, 2014.

The event will be held at Lakewood’s Pine Park, located on West County Line Road and Country Club Drive. The event will run from 4:00 p.m. until 800pm.

“Our purpose is to have our public safety professional and volunteer organizations get together to meet with the public and enjoy an evening of fun, food, and entertainment,” says Captain Gregory Meyer

There will be children’s rides, free giveaways, displays, demonstrations and information on how to safe guard your homes and businesses.

There will also be a bbq and other treats for the families to enjoy.
