3. Right of way only plays a role when there was no deliberate action to cause a collision, therefore in this scenario the pickup truck would be at fault for knowingly proceeding to drive when being obstructed resulting in a motor vehicle accident.

11. If you guys watch the video you will see the camry did turn on his blinker. However, not really the safest way to merge. Additionally, there is the possibility the pickup driver may not have noticed the car there.

17. The black car could be ticketed for failure to maintain lane and other misdemeanors… but the pickup truck would likely have to pay for any damage.

20. You might not like the camery but once he was there the truck can deliberately swipe him. Can the truck driver pick up a rock and throw it at the car? No. 2 wrongs don’t make a right and legally there is no way the truck is in the right even though he didn’t want to let the car in.

21. The Camry was pretty stupid for trying to make a lane change in standstill traffic at the last second before an intersection. He did have his blinker on though (though its not so clear in the video) and the truck definitely saw him, as evidenced by the multiple stops and starts before he hit the car, seemingly on purpose. Even though the car did a pretty darn stupid thing, the truck was the one who actively caused the accident by not allowing him to go.
