Dashcam video: Next time, wear a reflector

Reader-submitted: To the one who yelled at me for coming too close to you too fast:

As you can see on my dashcam, being that neither you nor your wife were wearing a reflector, you were virtually invisible. And as you can see on my dashcam as well, my speed was 28mph.

Please wear a reflector to prevent cars from coming too close to you.

  1. This has happened numerous times to me. Each time I am left shaking for a while with visions of the tragedy that could have happened. No driver wants blood on their hands even if it’s not their fault.
Pedestrians need to be aware that they are virtually invisible without reflectors.

  2. i know White Road in Jackson does not have sidewalks all the way up and down the road, but i do not understand where there are sidewalks while people continue to walk on the shoulder. it is really bad at night the street is not well lit.
