The video below can be frightening to watch, but is being posted as an awareness to parents.

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in Lakewood, when a child on a scooter dashed out into the road, nearly struck by two drivers.

Both drivers in the video – coming from opposite directions – told TLS the incident was even more frightening than it appears in the video.

“He literally came out of nowhere,” one of the drivers said. “I don’t want to think what could have happened if I was looking away from the road for a split second.”
