3. Although the car has no business getting in to the way of upcoming traffic. It would seem the school bus driver did have enough time to see the car and didn’t stop either because he wasn’t paying attention or he just wouldn’t allow the car “to get away with it”.

4. Sorry to tell you sammy you are plane out dumb. Bus driver is driving a bus that was over 26000 lbs. It’s not a mini van needs time to stop. I am a religious bus driver in lakewood and all the comments ppl make about bus drivers it’s just horrible. The bus driver quick reaction to the situation saved that person life or serious injuries.

6. Vehicle driver is clearly to blame. He attempted to make a u-turn without looking to see if there was oncoming traffic. That said, the bus driver did seem to be traveling fast and should have notice the car moving up ahead. End of the day the guilty party would be the bus driver.

9. Looks to me like the car may have been making a left turn out of a driveway, and pulled out without looking. The bus seems to be going quite fast and didn’t have time to stop and tried to go around. As far as I’m concerned it’s a draw.

10. The car clearly did not look had the bus been going a little slower it probably would’ve hit the car either way as the guy just went right in front of the bus…. That being said you can’t indict the car for an illegal u turn he coulve been making a k turn

12. Really? Flying huh? It takes the bus at least 2 blocks to even get up to 25 mph. It takes the bus a lot longer to slow to a complete stop then regular motor vehicles. I think everyone needs to go to a training program to really and fully understand what it takes to drive a vehicle over 40ft long. N turn down blocks with illegally parked cars. Bus driver is not at fault. He/she had right of way. Maybe more patience on the road from lil cars would be helpful to avoid accidents. I had 5 cars run my red lights because they did not want to stop for 30 seconds.

13. I don’t know. … 2 me it looked as though the car was going straight across.bus did NOT look like it was going fast…& how fast could it have been going already? Remember the driver had just let someone off,so the bus couldn’t have been going 2 fast. & he/she DID swerve…thankfully there was oncoming traffic (that I could see)

14. K just looked at it a few more times from different angles… it’s clear 2 C, That the driver WAS pulling out of a parking spot,AND making an illegal U turn.sorry but I believe it’s the driver in the CAR that’s 2 blame.

16. I’m a bus driver and it dose actually look like the bus is going quick on the video but having driven hundreds of school buses I can attest that the bus driver barely had enough time from the stop till that point to get up to 20 miles an hour
