Cyclist Sustains Serious Injuries After Being Struck By Vehicle

ems_rigA cyclist was transported to the Hospital a short time ago after being struck by a vehicle, EMS Supervisor Scott Carter says. Hatzolah and EMS responded to the call on Chestnut Street and Evergreen Road, where the patient was knocked off his bike and suffered head and facial injuries. Thee victim was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center.

Carter tells TLS that the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

The vehicle sustained serious damage as well. TLS-55/TLS-91/TLS-50/TLS-CCP

  1. Firstly – It is Evergreen Avenue, not Road…
    Secondly – the accident was at the corner of Chestnut and Mountainview/Tiffany, not Evergreen. I know, because I passed the scene on the way home…
