Cyclist Struck On Route 9

A cyclist was injured after being struck on Route 9 this afternoon. The accident occurred at the intersection of Central Avenue about 1:55 PM. Hatzolah and EMS responded to the scene and reportedly found the patient semi-conscious. The patient is being transported by EMS with unknown injuries.

Expect heavy delays in the area. TLS-CCP.

It is not against the law for an adult to ride a bike on route 9 as long as they are following the rules of riding a bike in the road. In reality it is against the law for adults to ride bicycles on the sidewalks.
