  1. I thought we just got finished saying how we have all our priorities skewed.

I hope that whoever gets a custom tailored shirt has paid up on his tuition.

  2. What is wrong with custom made shirts? I am a skinny guy with a 17 1/2 collar and look pathetic in regular shirts. Stop judging people or telling people what to do. Just worry about yourself…

  3. You cant expect someone to push an $800 bugaboo stroller in a $200 suit do you? they need a custom tailored $800 suit!

  4. Nobody is complaining, dude. But you do wear those custom tailored shirts to impress others, don’t you?

Well, we are just not impressed. We will be impressed, though, if you paid your tuition in full.

We will stop minding your business when you stop begging us to mind your business with your flashy show-off styles.

  5. I bought shirts from him and they did not fit properly and he did not stand behind his product, I also bought a suit which he said was 100% wool and it was not be careful

  6. Yid is 100% right and I think his point is across trhe board that somehow there is money for everything else and yet when it comes to paying up tuition somehow we can’t seem to find the money.

  7. I had a really bad experience with this “tailor”. His suits don’t look anything like ready made suits, they look like they were made by an amateur! He totally ignored all my efforts to get in touch with him. I lost my money and the suits are just hanging in my closet, unworn. ( by the way, the suit was about $350 – not $800, and yes, I do pay my tuition!)

  8. I am a very hard fit and I always need a lot of tailoring and my suits still don’t always fit properly. A custom suit would be might be a little more convenient for me. Please don’t judge. By the way I pay my tuition in full. And I have a standard graco stroller.

  9. Live and let live!!! First off, the shirts and suits custom is not much more then what u pay in the store. Second, there are ppl who don’t actually fit in to typical sizes and therefore need custom. Third, not everyone who can afford to pay a little more for cloths is behind on tuition.

So stop chasing moshiach away by being mekatreg and talking loshon hora/rechilus about others.

Ur Torah is worthless the way you talk.

  10. The guy on 14th street is double or triple the price. If I even think about going to him all these quacks on this site will go bananas “oh you’re going to the upscale stores to get your upscale fit blah blah blah” seriously grow up and start living and letting live you’ll be happier I promise. Truth be told I dont realy care what some annomymous blogger says I just don’t want to spend the extra money and I am making a point while I’m at it. Oh and if you want people shopping at your store lower your prices to compete with the real world and give the same customer service as the chain stores. If so I’ll have no reason to go to Nordstrom.

  11. “Live and let live”

How many times have we heard that? When some people refuse to get their kids vaccinated, and begged you to “live and let them live”, did you live and let live???? Or did you insist that everyone has to get vaccines?

When some schools in town refused to take in your children, and begged you to “live and let live” and stay out of their school’s business, did you “live and let live”???? Or did you insist that they MUST take in your child?

You see, my friend, you only want people to “live and let live” when they’re bothering you. But you have no problem bothering others.

It’s important to keep pointing this out, because most people don’t realize this inherent human flaw. Most people love pointing out others’ mistakes or shortcomings, but as soon as their own shortcomings are pointed out – they suddenly cry “live and let live”.

  12. the only reason why i don’t shop at stores in town is because most of them don’t stand behind there product. if you have a problem with shoes that you bought in town and they get ruined they tell you take them to the shoemaker to repair. why should someone spend money then a few weeks later have a problem and then have to pay more money to fix it. if you go to famous foot wear or Nordstrom they will replace the shoe at no cost . if you go to other stores and have a problem they work with you to make you a happy customer.

  13. Yid… common.

Do you read the comments people make in full and then respond, or do you just blabber the first thing that comes out of your mouth.

Your first comment about the person “To Yid” which basically said that for him he has a hard time fitting into a regular suit, so a custom suit would be more appropriate.
So, you give him two points: 1) That he get’s custom suits just to impress others. . . . . . All I can say is “Common” Just get over yourself. Do you dress in rags? Probably not. Well some people do, and would consider your way of dressing – to impress others.
So, who’s to say where to draw the line… that just a typical “close mindedness”, thinking that where you draw the line is appropriate, and everyone else just lives to impress others. Ridiculous.
I can tell you one thing:
You obnoxious comments are a lot more being done for the sole purpose of impressing others, then the uniquely sized person (commented above) whom wants to wear something which will fit properly so that he doesn’t look weird and stick out.

    The you say:
About no paying tuition… That just doesn’t deserve a comment at all. Unless you secretly know this person and he owes you money.
    Otherwise:
    What? When? Where?

    Next…

You commented on “Live and let live”.
I can tell you one thing – you didn’t read his post. You took his first four words and let out your blabber for us to have to step over.

His comment was indeed very true and to the point. Nothing you said negates or even addresses his wise words in any way.

So, to reiterate, I’ll re-post his words of common sense.

“First off, the shirts and suits custom is not much more then what u pay in the store. Second, there are ppl who don’t actually fit in to typical sizes and therefore need custom. Third, not everyone who can afford to pay a little more for cloths is behind on tuition.”

    True, true, and true.
    And, then he continues beautifully:

“So stop chasing moshiach away by being mekatreg and talking loshon hora/rechilus about others.

Ur Torah is worthless the way you talk.”

Thank you so much – “stop it already” for your words of wisdom and chizuk.

  14. I have a very hard to fit size but since marcy’s came to lakewood, I have perfect fit suits. Thank you pinny and the other fine guy(don’t know his name).
