“intersection of Rt 9 and Madison Avenue”? Aren’t they the same thing? Or do you mean 9th street and Madison Avenue?

That traffic pole was hit for the third time in 2 years they should make it out of rubber or like they have it in other states that the lights are hung on wires and the poles are in the inner corner!!!!

Why are there always children on the scene of an accident, fire, what have you? Don’t the parents have the sense to know to keep the noisy little kids out of the way of responders? This is not a place for a child to be. Parents, where are you?

To #s 4 & 5:

I posted my comment minutes after the story went up, and the quote is directly from the article as it was at that time. They obviously corrected it after my post.

One wrong doesn’t make a right! Don’t do it! (Even if you think you wouldn’t care to have everyone looking at you!)

One car was from the green team and one was from the blue team. They were both on their way to vote. When there is so much achdus that is what happens.

To #6: yes lets make all the poles in Lakewood out of rubber; wear reflectors, etc. Anything else you want? How about learning to drive and to cross the street.

#12, your right, it is a disgrace to see people gawking and no one watching the kids but I also saw many parents doing the same thing. It was not long after the the first ambulance arrived, scene control was being gathered and quickly a safety line was establsihed and controlled.
Our first responders were great here and really managed everything well. Multiple units and in and out with very little confusion.
