Corrections Officer Hospitalized Following Accident in Lakewood [PHOTOS]

A corrections officer was injured in an accident on Cedarbridge Avenue in Lakewood this afternoon.

The two-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of Cedarbridge Avenue and MLK Drive.

The officer was transported by EMS to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
