Coronavirus: Internet users around town complaining of slow service

Many internet users around town tell TLS they are experiencing slow internet service the last few days.

The issue is apparently due to the unusually-high amount of streaming data from conferences, business meetings, online classrooms and more.

Which service do you have, and how is it holding up?

Optimum for home and Verizon for phone. Both have been slow but phone with Verizon service has been extremely slow.

Does anyone have Altice Mobile and if yes how has the service been?

Phone service on Verizon is not great. Calls being dropped, not being connected, etc. It’s not terrible but it’s usually better.

Get cricket not sure why everyone pays extra for Verizon. And then complain about how slow it is
