  1. hey # 1, you are correct but usually the people who have guns when police are involved are not upstanding citizens, so your comment is pointless. we pray that the officer is ok.

  2. I just hope the gunman was not a renter from Lakewood.
My thought and prayers to the Troopers family & friends

  3. what did gunman do wrong? just having a gun is not a crime

obviously something to want to run from the cops, you moron! the gun is an accessory in the crime.

  4. You had stated earlier at around 2pm that the Trooper died, did he die or is he still critical. Please let us know the truth.

  5. Hope the officer gets well quick. It’s really sad for an officer to get hurt like this while he’s trying to ensure the public’s safety.

  6. I want to post this a second time

God bless his soul and protect all the men and women who put themselves on the line to protect us day in and day out.

  7. May G-D watch over this officer’s family. We all mourn his death here in Lakewood. We are all police officers today. G-D bless.

  8. You know, the next time the 195 is closed, maybe have the police put a sign up at the beginning of Squankum – so drivers don’t have to waste their time driving all the way there, just to drive all the way back to access the GSP – to get out of Lakewood.

  9. You know Fresser, I really don’t think anyone cared if you were inconvenienced while trying to leave Lakewood, while a police officer was dying on the side of a road while trying to protect the public. How can u Fresser # 25 be so inhumane. Shame on you for even thinking that you deserved not to have been bothered.

  10. I cannot believe this comment from #25{You know, the next time the 195 is closed, maybe have the police put a sign up at the beginning of Squankum – so drivers don’t have to waste their time driving all the way there, just to drive all the way back to access the GSP – to get out of Lakewood.} Are you kidding me?If it was your family dying would you still write that comment? I bet you would. Such Disrecpect This respect you were given to leave a comment for this Hero has been abused. I hope you don’t have to feel this kind of pain as many do. You are a selfish person now print that. You were right on #26 Thanks for putting him in his place. Barby Monaco
