  1. Oh, I think I just understood the reference to Chevra Kadisha as the article states that there was severe and permanent injury to her legs. Rachmana Litzlan.

  2. To #1 – She’s a 68 year old woman, who has family that love her, that was badly hurt by a bus. Prayers to her and her family. That’s all that needed to be said. What does being Jewish have anything to do with it.

  3. To Lakewood driver and Lakewood mom, sounds from information in the article like a possible loss of limb(s), which would require burial. Just an assumption.

  4. Raintree resident, #1 was just questioning the involvement of Chevra Kadisha, the burial society which ensures people and body parts are buried according to Jewish law. They would not be needed if the person was not Jewish.

  5. I wanna know why tls talks in riddles? If she’s Jewish & lost a limb why not say that straight & avoid all these misunderstandings. Regardless it’s so sad & I find it hard to believe how it can’t be the bus drivers fault all the way. He should be charged with something.
